Where Muhibbah F&B Operates in Malaysia
We serve eight Malaysian states from a head office in Kajang, Selangor and two central kitchens. Client sites are running today in the Klang Valley, Johor, Negeri Sembilan and Perak; Penang, Melaka and Pahang are mobilise-on-request, assessed case by case against production scale and shift pattern.
We publish that distinction deliberately. A coverage map that claims a presence in every state tells a procurement team nothing — and it is the first thing a site visit disproves.
States with active client sites
Each of these states has at least one Muhibbah F&B operation running now, with our own staff on the client's premises. That matters commercially: an existing regional operation means an existing supply chain, a trained relief pool, and a supervisor who can be on your site the same week.
Klang Valley (Selangor & Kuala Lumpur)
Our densest cluster: corporate HQ cafeterias, a theme-park staff canteen, hospitality staff dining in Petaling Jaya and a daily catering programme in Kuala Lumpur. Kajang head office and the Ampang central kitchen both sit inside this footprint.
cafeteria and canteen operations in the Klang ValleyJohor
Manufacturing and logistics territory — Johor Bahru, Pasir Gudang, Senai, Iskandar Puteri and Kulai. Multi-shift feeding and RBA/CSER audit scope are the norm here, supported by our Johor central kitchen.

Seremban, Bandar Enstek and the Nilai corridor. Round-the-clock manufacturing sites here run five meal services a day, including employer-subsidised cafeteria models with monthly meal reporting.

Our longest-running industrial canteen is in the Perak industrial zone — seven years of continuous two-shift service covering breakfast, lunch, dinner and supper.
multi-shift canteen operations in PerakWhat "coverage" actually means
Food service coverage is not a radius on a map. It depends on how the food reaches the people eating it, and we run three distinct models — often two of them for the same client.
On-site teams
For sites feeding roughly 100 people or more each day, we recruit, train and deploy a dedicated kitchen crew that works inside your facility — chefs, cooks, helpers and stewards, with our operations lead supervising. Food is cooked where it is eaten. This is how every cafeteria and factory canteen we run is staffed.
How on-site cafeteria management worksCentral-kitchen supply
Smaller offices, branch sites and multi-site chains do not justify a kitchen of their own. Those are produced in our central kitchens and delivered hot or chilled for finishing on-site — the same halal supply chain and menu discipline, without the on-site infrastructure.
Central kitchen supply and deliveryMobilised event teams
Town halls, annual dinners, family days and festive functions are served by an event crew that travels to your venue with the food, equipment and service staff. This is the model that reaches states where we have no standing site.
Corporate event cateringMobilise-on-request states
We do not have a standing operation in Penang, Melaka or Pahang today. We do quote and mobilise there, and we say so plainly rather than listing them as though a team were already on the ground. A new site in these states is assessed case by case, mainly on daily headcount, shift pattern and audit scope — the factors that decide whether a local supply chain and crew can be stood up sustainably.
Penang
Bayan Lepas Free Industrial Zone, Batu Kawan, Prai and Seberang Perai. Electronics and semiconductor plants here audit canteens against the RBA Code of Conduct, which is scope we already hold.
Melaka
Batu Berendam, Ayer Keroh and the surrounding industrial parks — manufacturing and E&E sites within reach of our Klang Valley supply chain.
Pahang
Kuantan and the Gebeng industrial area, plus highland hospitality sites needing heart-of-house staff dining.
Standard mobilisation runs 3–6 weeks from contract; a fast-track takeover of an already-operational kitchen can complete in about two weeks. Greenfield sites needing equipment, halal certification and full crew recruitment take longer. Ask for factory canteen operations or corporate cafeteria management when you enquire, and we will tell you honestly what a site in these states involves.
Two central kitchens behind the network
Production that does not happen in a client's own kitchen happens in one of two facilities: Ampang, Selangor serving the Klang Valley and the northern corridor, and Iskandar Puteri, Johor serving the southern region. They handle bulk cooking, event production and daily delivery runs for sites too small to justify an on-site kitchen.
Neither central kitchen is open to visitors — they are production facilities, not venues, and they support the corporate kitchen operations rather than serving the public. Addresses and the production model are on the central kitchen service page.
Services available across our coverage
The service mix does not change by state. What changes is the delivery model and the lead time.
